About us

We have been developing and hosting web sites since 1997. We have grown each year enabling us to remain profitable and financially stable whilst expanding the services and facilities we can offer.

In June 2003 we acquired Computalynx a world renowned developer of email server and proxy server software and also much like Host-it an ISP/hosting company. Computalynx was originally established in 1995, developing software and hosting/ISP solutions right from the very early days of the internet's commercial history and supplying solutions for household names such as NASA, Kennedy Space Centre, P&O, Walmart to name but a few. Host-it and Computalynx were merged and structured under nuco technologies ltd.

In September 2008 we acquired the business assets of Actinic ecommerce software hosting specialist 4surehosting.

In April 2009 we acquired business assets of long established ISP and hosting company Skynet.

The businesses within nuco technologies ltd can offer a complete range of services from hosting to network support, web development and various connectivity solutions (eg dial up, ADSL or leased lines).

Data Centres

Currently we operate a wide range of virtual and dedicated servers and host thousands of domains/web sites. Many hosting companies refer to "our data centre" when they really mean "the data centre we use" with host-it "our data centre" is "our own data centre". It is located on the premises in a secure climate controlled environment with full power back up and diverse routed internet feeds.

Running the whole process in-house gives us the maximum level of control and enables us to offer the highest level of service possible. This also means that we retain a high technical knowledge level within the company and at a time where anyone can rent some rack space in a data centre with virtually no technical ability and operate quite literally out of a bedroom, running our own data centre and network has proven to be essential for the piece of mind of our customers.

We also maintain our own 'AS' number giving us maximum control and flexibility for routing and inter connectivity.

Our Clients

We support many types of clients both technical and non technical including (but not limited to) small 'one man bands', large multi nationals, local authorities, police forces, web development companies and some of the most recognised brand names in the world.

Although we can support all types of client we are particularly proud that many of our clients are experienced technical professionals who recognise the high level of support and experience we can offer.
