Set Up Guides - CuteFTP
The following is a rough guide to uploading files to our server using CuteFTP.
Please not that we do not directly support this program, the guide is here to assist you in uploading to our servers. If you encounter any problems with the CuteFTP software you should contact its publishers directly.
Step 1.
Select 'Tools' then 'Site Manager' then 'Display Site Manager' OR click the 'Book' icon in the toolbar.

Step 2.
Select 'New' then 'FTP Site' OR press Ctrl+N on your keyboard before opening the site manager.

Step 3.
1. Label - can be anything, enter a name which will help you to identify the connection later.
2. 3. 4. - Server, User ID, Password - this information can be found in your hosting Admin Panel.

Step 4.
Select the 'Type' tab then 'Data Connection Type' then 'Use Port'. (this is to get the software to use Active rather than Passive FTP).

Step 5.
Add the virtual FTP directory path (remove folder) to your site settings, this can be found in your hosting Admin Panel.

Click the 'Connect' button.
Note: This takes you to a level above public access (for most sites). To connect directly to your local web folder just add '/wwwroot' to the end of the remove folder address.
Step 6.
That's it! You are now connected.

Additional
Please note that whilst we are happy to support your hosting and offer assistance in your initial upload the fee charged for your hosting account does not cover website design or support for your local computer. Designing and maintaining a website requires a working level of knowledge in computers, we always recommend using professional designers for website development work. Particularly, us!
